A Queensland based club dedicated to the preservation and restoration of authentic Chevrolets more than 30 years old, the club is affiliated with the Queensland Historic Motoring Council www.qhmc.org.au.

The club was originally formed in 1969 as a branch of the Association that first formed in Sydney NSW in 1967.  The first Queensland meetings were held in members' homes until meetings were moved to Kings Garage next to the Regatta Hotel in Toowong in 1970.  Later meetings were held in the St. John's Hall, Mott Park at Greenslopes and then the RSL Hall at Holland Park before moving to our present location at the thennewly-constructed Veteran Car Club rooms in November, 1993.

New members and visitors are most welcome to attend our monthly meetings and events.  Our meetings are held on the second Thursday of every month at the Veteran Car Club rooms at 1376 Old Cleveland Road, Carindale commencing around 8:00pm.

The club Membership Secretary is Roy Browne. Postal address is P O Box 20, Holland Park QLD 4121.

The club has extensive reference material including books, workshop manuals, photographs, magazines & periodicals which contain all facets of Chevrolet vehicles.  All materials are available for loan to Members.  If you are restoring or maintaining a Chevrolet vehicle, the library and Members "who have been there and done that" could prove very useful.

Membership benefits include the monthly club magazine "The Royal Mail" which includes restoration tips and technical data and a free For Sale/Wanted section.  The magazine is circulated to Members throughout Australia.  Membership also includes a roster booklet containing the names and contact details of members throughout Australia and the cars in their collection.  The roster offers contact with owners of vehicles which may be similar to the one you are restoring.
